For Alumni: Events of Interest to Auburn Grads Reception to Honor Alumni Professor and Scholars The Alumni Association will host a reception honoring the Alumni Professors, Alumni Scholars and the Teaching Excellence and Minority Achievement Award Recipients on March 4 from 4 p.m.-5 p.m. at the Alumni Center. Lifetime Achievement Awards The 2004 Lifetime Achievement Awards Banquet will be held Saturday, March 5, 2005 at the Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center. Recipients to be recognized at the fourth annual Lifetime Achievement Awards Banquet are: Leah Rawls Atkins, M.Miller Gorrie, Don Logan, and, posthumously, John M. Harbert III. The award is the highest honor given by the Auburn Alumni Association. It was established four years ago to recognize extraordinary accomplishment by members of the Auburn family.
