The Auburn University Retiree Association represents retirees from Auburn University and Auburn University Montgomery. The Association came into being in 1995 as a result of problems with the health insurance program. As the association has grown its purposes have come to include an effort to educate the public about the problems and needs of retired persons in general, to communicate with representatives of Auburn and Auburn Montgomery, government, and other groups as necessary on matters of concern to retired AU an and AUM faculty and staff. Additionally, the association sponsors various activities relating to the general fellowship of retired personnel and through its newsletter and other communication endeavors to keep its members informed about issues and opportunities of concern and interest to them.
We invite you to explore the variety of topics covered in this website and hope that you will share it with friends and encourage them to join the Auburn University Retiree Association and lend your support to its efforts on your behalf.
