CMB GRADUATE PROGRAM
The AU-CMB program will fund at least 6 doctoral graduate assistantships for the 2010 - 2011 academic year. These positions can be available for students to begin Fall Semester 2010. The assistantships carry a stipend of $15,360 for the first year, plus a $3,000 supplemental award, and a University Peak of Excellence graduate research fellowship to cover tuition. The intent of the CMB graduate assistantship is to recruit outstanding students to begin doctoral study in this university program. Deadline for receipt of applications is February 15.
This program of study toward the Ph.D. degree is complimented by required laboratory rotations in which students spend time learning advanced laboratory skills and identifying research opportunities in disciplines of specific interest to them. Our goal is to develop a program of graduate study and research experience for each student that is tailored to his or her career goals and complementary to our research directions
