National Student Employment Week- April 7- April 13, 2013

Each year Auburn University celebrates National Student Employee Appreciation Week, during the second full week of April. While part-time jobs offer students career enhancing opportunities, students as employees make substantial contributions to the operation of the University and the local community. The Career Center encourages Auburn Univeristy departments, colleges and offices as well as Auburn/Opelika area businesses to celebrate student employee contributions during Student Employee Appreciation Week. Student Employee Appreciation Week enables us to thank Auburn students for the contributions they make as employees to the University and the surrounding community.

Congratulations to TJ Nguyen, Auburn's On-Campus Student Employee of the Year and winner of the Southern Region and National Student Employee of the Year awards! TJ, student employee of the College of Sciences and Mathematics Outreach was nominated by Mary Lou Ewald, Director, Science and Math Outreach.	Congratulations to Meghan Sadler, Auburn's Off-Campus Student Employee of the Year! Meghan, student employee at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center was nominated by John Simms, Operations Manager at The Hotel.

Congratulations to Auburn Abroad, winner of the 2013 Office Decorating Contest. Kudos to the other offices participating in this year's student employee recognition event which included Engineering Student Services, Polymer & Fiber Engineering, and the Office of Technology Transfer.
