AU High School Marching Percussion Camp

2009 Camp Dates: June 14-17th

The focus of the Auburn University High School Percussion Camp is on improving playing technique, developing leadership skills, and enhancing the overall impact of a marching band performance. The High School Percusison Camp is staffed by the directors and student leaders of our very own Auburn University Marching Band Drumline. The program is open to high school percussionists who will be in the 9th through 12th grade in the upcoming school year.

Our 2009 camp will be held on June 14-17th.  Those interested should download the application, and send it along with the registration fee to:

What to Bring

  • Comfortable clothes and walking shoes (no flip‐flops!)
  • Bed linens for a twin bed
  • Bath towels and washcloths
  • Toiletry items
  • Spending money for souvenirs and snacks
  • CD of the concert performance will be available for purchase for $10 each.
  • Khaki shorts for the ending performance (NOTE: This was mistakenly omitted from the application.)
  • You should bring your sticks, mallets, and/or snare drums.
