	Now accepting recommendations for High School and Junior High Symphonic Honor Bands Posted on October 17, 2009 at 4:13 pm The Auburn University Bands is proud to announce that we are accepting recommendations for our 19th Annual Symphonic Honor Band for High School students and our first ever Symphonic Honor Band for Junior High students. The festivals will take place on February 11-13, 2010 for the high school festival and February 4-6, 2010 for the junior high festival. 	Upcoming Auburn University Chamber Winds Concert this Thursday Posted on October 11, 2009 at 9:37 am The Auburn University Department of Music and the Auburn University Bands are proud to present the Auburn University Chamber Winds and Percussion in an evening of diverse music for small ensembles. Two concerts will take place, the first on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 7:30 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Opelika, and the second on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 7:30 p.m., at the Opelika Performing Arts Center. The full Auburn University Marching Band will also travel up to Knoxville to cheer on their Tigers to what we hope will be our first away win and second SEC victory of the season. Our favorite football team will now take on the Ball State Cardinals this Saturday. The Auburn University Marching Band will host its Marching Honor Band that same day, providing a special halftime show that showcases the talent of hundreds of top high school marching band students alongside the AUMB.
