High school students interested in joining us for our fifth annual Marching Honor Band Festival on September 26th, 2009, may now apply online. Program details can be found on the Marching Honor Band page, and you can apply online here. Applications close on August 20th, so be sure to apply soon! We look forward to having you join us this fall.
Update: The server hosting the marching honor band application is currently down. We will be pushing back the deadline to adjust for this. Further updates will come tomorrow. Thank you for your patience.

For our AUMB members who will be living in an AU Residence Hall this coming fall, we’ve provided details on Early Move-In on the Preseason Camp page. You MUST contact Housing to let them know you will be attending AUMB Preseason Camp or you will not be able to move in early. Visit the Preseason Camp page for full details.

The application files (available in Adobe PDF format) for each Summer Camp have been updated with extra forms, including Medical Release forms. For those of you who have already submitted an application, we ask that you download a new application and either mail ahead these extra forms, or bring them with you to registration. If you have yet to apply, we ask that you send the entire application at once. We have pushed back the application deadline to June 1st for all of our camps, so there’s still time to register if you haven’t already! Visit the Summer Camps page for an application. For those who cannot join us in person for the 2009 All-State Band Festival, the College of Liberal Arts is pleased to provide live streaming video of this year’s Festival Concert on Saturday, April 18th. Follow this link for instructions on how to stream the live performance on your home computer. The Middle School and High School Blue Bands will perform at 11:00 am, and the High School White and Red Bands will perform at 1:30 pm. We encourage you to test your connection prior to the performance to avoid any technical difficulties. The Auburn University Bands looks forward to seeing you either online, or in person at the Opelika Performing Arts Center (map) on Saturday.

The Auburn University Symphonic Winds would like to invite you to their 2009 Spring Concert. Carmen, which includes works from Bizet’s signature opera, will be held on Friday, April 17th at the Opelika Performing Arts Center as a part of the Alabama All-State Festival. The 2009 Auburn Tigers A-Day Spring Scrimmage will be held on April 18, 2009.
