The Auburn University Bands is proud to participate in this year’s Sounds of Auburn concert. The Auburn Department of Music is presenting Sounds of Auburn on Thursday, November 5th, at 7:30 p.m. in Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum. The concert will showcase the student ensembles of the Auburn University band and choral departments, featuring the marching band, chamber choir, steel drum band, singers, symphonic band, gospel choir and jazz band. Admission is free, but donations of canned goods will be accepted for the Beat Bama Food Drive. |

The AUMB R.A.T. Program has begun a new tradition of service to the community. This year, you can help our band’s Rookie Auburn Tigers by supporting their efforts to contribute to the Beat Bama Food Drive. The R.A.T. Leaders will be collecting canned food items in orange bins during our upcoming Sounds of Auburn concert, and at band rehearsal Saturday morning before the Furman (Homecoming) game. The Auburn Tigers weathered the storm last weekend to boost their record to 3-0. Our favorite football team will now take on the Ball State Cardinals this Saturday. The Auburn University Marching Band will host its Marching Honor Band that same day, providing a special halftime show that showcases the talent of hundreds of top high school marching band students alongside the AUMB.
