All high school juniors and seniors are invited to join the Auburn University Marching Band to perform at the 2008 Auburn Tigers A-Day Spring Scrimmage. Details for high school students and current AUMB members are available after the jump. UPDATED with registration details for high school students, and information for Tiger Eyes.
A-Day Itinerary, March 29, 2008
- 10:30-11:30
Instrument distribution for AUMB members at the Band Hall - 12:00
Assemble and warm up outside the stadium at the concourse area across from the parking deck (where the Alumni tent is located on Gamedays). Participating high school students should meet at this time and location. (See map below.) - 12:15
Move into Jordan-Hare Stadium (entering through Gate 9 and sitting in the normal band section) - 12:50
Perform National Anthem - 1:00
Kick-Off (WAR EAGLE!!!) - 3:30
Instrument return for AUMB Members
Dress for participating high school students is a gray t-shirt and khaki shorts. If you do not have a gray shirt, you must wear an orange or blue t-shirt. Auburn apparel is preferable, but not required. High school students must provide their own instrument to participate, but music will be provided at the stadium.
Uniform for current AUMB Members is your 2008 gray AUMB shirt, khaki shorts, white socks, and tennis shoes. AUMB Members should bring their flip folder. As stated in the above itinerary, instrument checkout begins at 10:30 that morning, and all instruments must be returned immediately following the event. Tiger Eyes should wear their pep rally outfits.
