Fred Kam, M.D., Medical Director

Dr. Kam is a board-certified Internist. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and graduated with his Medical Degree from the University of Miami in 1986. He has over twelve years experience in medical service delivery which incl udes positions as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and many Directorships - including Director of the Student Health Center - at the University of Miami.

Dr. Kam was chosen by his peers as one of the Best Doctors in America (1996-97 & 1997-98), and he is in Who's Who in Medicine and Health Care. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, Alpha Epsilon Delta, Mortar Board, Omicron Delta K appa and Iron Arrow Honor Societies. He is also a brother of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He served as President of his medical school class, was voted as the Best House Staff Member of the Year (1988) and received the coveted Eric Reiss Award for O utstanding Teaching.  He currently holds professorships at Auburn in the Department of  Political Science, School of Nursing, and the School of Pharmacy.

Dr. Kam was born in Trinidad and went to high school in England. He and his family live in Auburn. He enjoys traveling, fishing, tennis and watching college football.

Robin Gosdin Farrell, CRNP

Ms. Farrell is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Auburn University at Montgomery and a Master's of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She also has a minor in Cou nseling.

Robin has over 17 years of clinical experience. Her clinical experiences are in Student Health, Neonatal Intensive Care and Pediatrics, Family Medicine/Occupational Health and Women's Health. She also lectured at several university an d nursing school classes, as well as presented at regional and national conferences. She has precepted nurse practitioner students from various schools for over ten years.

Ms. Farrell has several honors and memberships which include: Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Med Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, Who's Who Among American Nurses, American Nurses Association Search for Excellence Winner for the State of Alabama - 1991, Member of Alabama State Nurse's Association, Member of Alabama Nurse Practitioner Council (past president, CEU committee, nominations committee and other offices). She is presently serving on the nominating committee for the Alabama Nurse Practitioner Council. She is also active in the East Alabama Nurse Practitioner Council and is currently certified in Cardiac Life Support.

Ms. Farrell lives in Auburn with her family. She enjoys sports, music, dancing, gymnastics and playing with her two children. She is also active in her local church college group

Patricia Keeney, CRNP

Mrs. Keeney holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Auburn University and a Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has many years of nursing experience, including employment at East Alabama Medical Center and within the states of Florida and Arizona. Mrs. Keeney is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Society of Nursing and served as President of both her ADN and LPN nursing classes. Mrs. Keeney is a current member of the American Nurses A ssociation, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is married and lives in Opelika. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.


Bethzaida R. Ladisla, M.D.

Dr. Ladisla is an Internal Medicine Specialist (Internist). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, and a Medical degree from University of Santo Tomas where she graduated with both degrees.

She holds certifications with the American Board of Internal Medicine, Educational Commission of Foreign Medical Graduates, Federation Licensing Examination (FLEX) Component I and II, and National Board of Medical Examiners Part I and II. She is a member of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Ladisla has worked with East Alabama Medical Center for almost ten years. She is married and lives with her husband and two children in Auburn.


Kerri Hensarling, M.D.

Dr. Hensarling is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She holds Bachelor degrees in both Chemistry and Biochemistry, and graduated from University of South Alabama with her Medical Degree.

She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Education Course, Domestic Violence Education, and HIV/AIDS Medical Update. Dr. Forrester has professional memberships in American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Medical Associations, and American Chemical Society. She is married and lives with her husband in Auburn.


Ginny Donald, PA-C

Ginny Donald is a Physician’s Assistant (PA-C). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology from Birmingham Southern College, and a Master’s degree in Health Science from the University of South Alabama.

She is a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants, Alabama Society of Physician Assistants. Her honors include 2002 Physician Assistant Student of the Year, Phi Kappa Honor Society, Alpha Eta Honor Society, Adjunct Assistant Professor, and Publication of Research Project Breaking Socioeconomic Barriers to Breastfeeding. Mrs. Donald is licensed and certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), Licensure by State of Alabama, and American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support. She is married and lives with her husband and two children in Auburn.


Stacy Northcutt Roland, CRNP

Stacy Roland is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Auburn University, and a Master’s degree in Nursing from University of Alabama in Birmingham.

Mrs. Roland has 17 years of clinical experience. Her clinical experience includes urgent care, medical care practices, family practice, rural based health clinic, critical care, and emergency department care. She has professional memberships in the Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Alabama Advanced Practice Coalition, Alabama State Nurses Association, and American Nurses Association. She is married and lives with her husband and three children in Auburn.
