Interior Design - Area V
AREA V: PRE-PROFESSIONAL
MAJOR AND ELECTIVE COURSES FOR A MAJOR IN INTERIOR DESIGN
(20 Semester Hours)
No more than 20 semester
hours may transfer in Area V for this 123 hour degree program.
Restrictions on elective transfer hours:

Only courses taught at the freshman and
sophomore levels at Auburn
University may be
elected. For courses coded as C in Section I of The Alabama College
System: Course Directory, students may petition Auburn University
to pre-approve courses selected under area V that are not mentioned under
Area V (contact: CHSinfo@humsci.auburn.edu).

Developmental, remedial or technical courses
from Section II, III, and IV of The Alabama College System: Course Directory
will not transfer.
No transfer credit will be
awarded for math courses below the state approved core level of Math 110 or
Math 112.
NOTE: Admission of on- and off-campus transfer students into the INDS
program is competitive and limited based on space available. Students
should contact the Department of Consumer Affairs for an application,
procedures, and additional information about admission criteria prior
to beginning their collegiate course work. Applicants for the INDS program
are admitted only in fall term.

Guide. Together, this document and the AGSC transfer guide comprise the
articulation agreement for a major in Interior Design at Auburn.
