Biological Sciences - Area V  

INCLUDES: BIOLOGY, BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES, BOTANY (Cellular/Molecular Tract and Ecology/Evolution Tract), MOLECULAR BIOLOGY, and ZOOLOGY (General Tract, Conservation/Biodiversity Tract, Ecology/Evolution/Behavior Tract and
Cellular Biology/Physiology Tract).

In addition to the 8 hours listed on the Biology AGSC transfer guide, transferring students must take the following courses.
 
MTH 125 Calculus I  (4 SH)  
CHM 221 Organic Chem I  (4 SH)  
CHM 222 Organic Chem II**  (4 SH)  
** Students pursuing a degree in Zoology--Conservation and Biodiversity or the Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior Tracks should take PHY 201 in lieu of CHM 222  

  

Biomedical Sciences

Students in Biomedical Sciences may enter a variety of professional programs, which have different admission requirements.  This guide is designed to meet transfer requirements for Auburn undergraduates only. Therefore, for transferring students who plan to major in Biomedical Sciences at Auburn, it is strongly suggested that they contact the College of Sciences and Mathematics at 334-844-4269 or cosamau@auburn.edu for specific information about meeting professional school requirements.
