Welcome to the Auburn University Advanced Placement Summer Institute (APSI) website. The APSI is designed to aid the professional development of teachers, counselors, and administrators who are involved with Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Auburn University, in cooperation with College Board, will offer teacher workshops in the areas of Biology, Calculus AB, Chemistry, English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, Studio Art and U.S. History. These workshops will be held on the campus of Auburn University during the week of June 23-27, 2008. All workshop instructors will be College Board Endorsed Consultants. They have current information regarding AP policies, including updates on any exam changes that may be occurring. Tuition is $500. An additional lab fee of $35 will be assessed for Biology, Chemistry, and Studio Art.

Two concurrent workshops for Administrators & Counselors will be held June 23-25, 2008. All instruction for the workshop will be provided by College Board staff. Tuition is $500.

The Auburn University APSI is co-sponsored by the Outreach Program Office and the Truman Pierce Institute (College of Education).  The institute is endorsed by College Board.
