Convention
Every year, ALABA strives to provide a quality program, while keeping costs low. This year, in addition to our regular convention program topics (issues in autism, developmental disabilities, classroom management strategies, staff training, etc...), the Alabama Head Injury Foundation (AHIF) will co-sponsor a convention session and a workshop on brain injuries. This collaborative effort is consistent with ALABA’s goal to disseminate Behavior Analysis across the state of Alabama.
This year’s Convention will take place in Birmingham, AL at the Doubletree Hotel Thursday, November 5 - Saturday, November 7. Birmingham, Alabama is classic southern charm and hospitality. This vibrant, beautiful city is nestled in the rolling foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and serves up nationally recognized dining, shopping and entertainment, world-class attractions, events and other things to see and do.
