To further the cause of aviation in all its branches. To instill in the public mind a confidence in aviation. To promote contacts between the students of aviation and these engaged in the profession. To promote a closer affiliation between students of aviation for the purpose of education and research. The constitution of Alpha Eta Rho declares that the success of aeronautics depends upon its unified development in all the countries on the world and upon the cooperation of different phases on aviation with each other. It affirms its character to be international and declares eligibility for membership not dependant upon race, religion, nationality, or sex.
