Travel & Parking Information

Airport Information

Driving directions, parking instructions, and airport information can be found on this page. If you have plans to fly to Auburn, we would recommend either the Birmingham International Airport (Birmingham, AL) or the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (Atlanta, GA). Driving time from either airport is approximately 2 hours. Remember, after flying into Atlanta, there will be a time change (EST to CST) when driving across the Georgia-Alabama state line.

Parking Information

Due to limited visitor parking on campus, the Office of Undergraduate Recruiting provides the Charcoal Line shuttle service to and from the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art located on South College Street. There is ample visitor parking at this location, and the shuttle will drop you off directly behind the Quad Center. We strongly encourage you to park at the museum. When planning your visit, please allow at least 30 minutes to park and ride to campus. This shuttle runs from 7:00 am CST to 6:00 pm CST, Monday through Friday when the University is in session.

If you are taking a Saturday campus tour, DO NOT park at the Jule Collins Smith Museum. Instead, click here for instructions.
