J. Boyd Scebra, Admissions Advisor
J. Boyd Scebra is a native of Clarksville, Tennessee. "Doc", as he is affectionately known, holds Bachelor degrees in Business and Secondary Education, a Masters in Education and a Doctorate in Higher Ed Administration. He has been associated with
Auburn for more than 35 years. He served for 20 years on the faculty of the College of Education as a professor and Dean before retiring in 1990. However, with Auburn orange and blue blood in his veins, Doc could not stay away for long, returning to work
as an advisor in the Office of Undergraduate Recruiting. Doc's primary responsibility is serving as the "in-house" advisor, meeting with prospective students and their families, and helping them achieve their goal of attending the University.
