Jim Ferguson joined the Admissions and Recruitment staff on a part-time basis in September 2008. Jim serves as admissions advisor for all undergraduate international students and is the territory manager for the states of West Virginia and Wyoming. He also coordinates large group campus visits and meets with prospective students and their families on campus as needed. Before retiring in 2005, Jim enjoyed a career spanning 34 years that included six years as an officer in the United States Army and 28 years as a university administrator. From 1993 – 2002, Jim served as Vice President for Administrative Services at Auburn. Jim’s formal education includes BS, MBA and PhD degrees, all from Texas A&M University. Jim and his wife Jane live near Lake Martin where Jim enjoys golf, fishing and family activities. They have two married daughters, both of whom are Auburn graduates. |
