FAQHow much is the application fee?
The application fee is $40 for the undergraduate application, and $50 for the international undergraduate application.
How does Auburn get my transcripts and test scores?
You must submit your ACT and/or SAT scores (either including the writing portion) to the university. Auburn does not request this information from the testing agencies on your behalf. The easiest way to send your scores is to indicate that Auburn should receive them when you register to take the test. This will speed the processing of the application. If you did not submit these scores electronically, and your high school cannot provide them with your transcripts, you should have them sent directly from the testing agency. The College Board code for AU is 1005. The ACT code for AU is 0011. High School and College transcripts should be requested from the appropriate institutions. Again, Auburn will not request this information on your behalf.

Graduate students are required to complete the Graduate School application found on the Graduate School web site What are the application deadlines?
Auburn processes undergraduate applications as they are received after June 1, 2005. Applications for each term will be accepted only until the capacity for that specific term is reached. Applications and related materials must be received in the Office of Admissions and Records by the following dates: (Month in which term begins noted in parentheses) Fall Term 2006 (August) - August 1, 2006; Spring Term 2006 (January) - October 1, 2005; Summer Terms 2006 (May - July) - May 1, 2006. There is no guarantee however, that an application submitted on or close to the deadline will be accepted. To ensure prompt application processing, it is best to submit your application as soon as possible.
When I check the status of my application online, it tells me my transcript is "Received/Incomplete". What does that mean?
Received/Incomplete means that we have received your partial high school or college transcript, but because you are still currently enrolled, it is incomplete. A final transcript from each school attended (high school or college) is required prior to enrollment. It is the applicant's responsibility to request these transcripts for the institution. Auburn will not request high school or college transcripts directly.
I applied as a freshman with dual enrollment credit. Should I send my college transcripts also?
No. Dual Enrollment simply means you have taken college courses while you are still in high school. Under normal circumstances, the dual enrollment college credit will appear on your high school transcript. The exception will be applicants who are home-schooled. Questions regarding dual enrollment credit should be directed to the Office of Undergraduate Recruiting.
I am taking Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate courses. Will I get credit? Questions regarding academic credit for AP or IB courses are answered by the Office of Admissions and Records. Information and credit tables may be viewed here.
