FAQ

How much is the application fee?

The application fee is $40 for the undergraduate application, and $50 for the international undergraduate application.

How does Auburn get my transcripts and test scores?

You must submit your ACT and/or SAT scores (either including the writing portion) to the university. Auburn does not request this information from the testing agencies on your behalf. The easiest way to send your scores is to indicate that Auburn should receive them when you register to take the test. If you did not submit these scores electronically, and your high school cannot provide them with your transcripts, you should have them sent directly from the testing agency. The College Board code for AU is 1005. The ACT code for AU is 0011. High School and College transcripts should be requested from the appropriate institutions. Again, Auburn will not request this information on your behalf.

Where do I send my transcripts, test scores and other documents?

All application materials should be sent to:

Admissions Processing
108 Mary Martin Hall
Auburn University, AL 36849

What are the application deadlines?

Students can begin applying June 1 at www.auburn.edu/apply. Complete applications will be reviewed beginning October 1 and every 4-6 weeks thereafter, and decisions will be made by February 15.

I applied as a freshman with dual enrollment credit. Should I send my college transcripts also?

Yes. Dual Enrollment simply means you have taken college courses while you are still in high school. Under normal circumstances, the dual enrollment college credit will appear on your high school transcript. However, to ensure that college credit earned is included in your record, a transcript of the dual enrollment coursework should be sent from the college where the credit was earned. This is also the case with applicants who are home-schooled. Questions regarding dual enrollment credit should be directed to the Office of Admissions and Recruitment.

I am taking Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate courses. Will I get credit?

Questions regarding academic credit for AP or IB courses are answered by the Office of the Registrar. Information and credit tables may be viewed here.
