Financial Aid

More than 60% of Auburn students receive some type of financial assistance. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available online at fafsa.ed.gov on January 1 . The results of your FAFSA and other requirements, if necessary, must be received by Auburn by April 1 to receive maximum federal aid consideration. The FAFSA determines your eligibility for grants, loans, and work-study programs, which are need-based. The FAFSA is the only form that a student is required to complete to be considered for student assistance from any of the Title IV, HEA programs except for information needed to ensure the student’s eligibility for such assistance (e.g., information needed to complete verification or to demonstrate compliance with the student eligibility provisions of the HEA and the regulations). Additional information, if requested, will be listed on the student’s Tigeri Financial Aid Requirements page after we receive the results of the FAFSA. For additional information, visit the Office of Financial Aid.
