On Thursday, Sept. 20, Auburn University will sponsor the second in a series of Brown Bag Seminars/panel discussions related to last week's terrorist attacks on America, Foy Student Union, Room 217, at noon.

Experts on the panel will include psychology Professor Barry Burkhart, who will moderate the discussion; Jill Crystal, associate professor of political science and an authority on the Middle East; Yasser Gowayed, associate professor of textile engineering and a representative of Auburn's Islamic community; Jim Long, head of AU's Department of Economics who will speak on the economic impacts of the attacks; Thomas Petee, associate professor of sociology and an expert on homicide and mass murder; Christa Slaton, associate professor of political science and an authority on terrorism; and Holly Stadler, head of the Department of Counseling and Counseling Psychology.

The seminar, which will consist of a question-and-answer session, is scheduled to last about one hour. Soft drinks will be provided and those interested are encouraged to bring their own lunch.
