The first meeting of the Auburn Alumni Advisory Council will be Saturday (Sept. 8) at the Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum.
Jimmy Samford, president pro tem of the Auburn University Board of Trustees, will address the group, which represents more than three dozen Auburn alumni organizations. Other speakers will include other members of the Board of Trustees and key university administrators.
The two-hour meeting will begin at 10 a.m., in the Doyle Haynes Scholarship Room, south entrance of the coliseum.
