<P><B>ALABAMA, WYOMING SENATORS TO ADDRESS AU BUSINESS
STUDENTS</b>
	<P>AUBURN -- Sens. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., and Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., will
speak to Auburn University  business students on Sept. 1, as part of the AU College
of Business' Distinguished Leaders in Government and Business Series.
	<P>Sessions and Enzi will also attend the Auburn-Wyoming football game
on Aug. 31.
	<P>The two senators will have breakfast with AU President William V.
Muse on Sept. 1, then speak from 9 a.m.-10 a.m., in room 009 of the Lowder
Business Building as part of the lecture series sponsored by AU's MBA Program.
	<P>"Sen. Enzi and I look forward to meeting with the Auburn MBA students
and giving them our perspectives on the relationship between business and
government," said Sessions.
	<P>Daniel Gropper, director of Auburn's MBA Program, says the
Distinguished Leaders in Government and Business Series is beneficial to Auburn
students "because it allows them to interact directly with business and government
leaders."
	<P>"We have strong links with business and government and it's helpful
when we have people in leadership positions to come in and talk to our students,"
he said.
	<P>Gropper said he expects about 60 to 70 on-campus and executive MBA
students to be in the audience. The EMBA students represent 13 states, including
California, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas, for the residency week on
campus. They will return home to complete their classes via the Internet, CD-ROM,
and videotape
	<P>Following the presentation by Sessions and Enzi, there will be a reception
on the fifth floor reception room at 11 a.m.
	<P>Sessions, 53, a native of Hybart, Ala., and a former U.S. attorney, is
serving his first term in the Senate. He received his B.S. degree from Huntingdon
College and his law degree from the University of Alabama.
	<P>Enzi, 56, a native of Bremerton, Wash., was sworn in as Wyoming's 20th
senator on Jan. 7, 1997, replacing Alan Simpson. He holds an accounting degree
from George Washington University and a master's degree in retail marketing from
the University of Denver.
