<P><B>AUBURN UNIVERSITY FMA SCHEDULES ANNUAL 'FINANCE DAY'</b>
     <P>AUBURN -- Representatives from three corporations will speak to Auburn University
business students during on Monday, April 23, during "Finance Day," which is sponsored annually by the
student chapter of the Financial Management Association International.
     <P>The speakers will include Tracy Newton of Accenture, Robert Cornelius of Covenant
Investment Services and Julie Ryland of Energen Corporation.  
     <P>Following their morning presentations, the speakers will meet with the Department of
Finance's Scholarship and Award recipients at a luncheon in the Alabama Power Room at the Edward L.
and Catherine K. Lowder Business Building.
     <P>The Auburn chapter of FMA -- under the guidance of associate professors Marlin Jensen and
Lee Colquitt   received the 1999-2000 FMA Superior Chapter designation in recognition of the chapter's
excellence during the past academic year. The designation is awarded to fewer than 5 percent of the FMA
chapters in the nation's business schools.
