ARIZONA PROFESSOR WILL SPEAK AT AUBURN
AUBURN -- University of Arizona management professor Barbara A. Gutek will speak at Auburn University on Feb. 17 on the subject of "The Dynamics of Service."
Gutek, the McClelland Professor in the Department of Management and Policy, will speak at noon in the Lowder Building, Room 13-A
Prior to her appointment in 1998 to the titled professorship, Gutek was head of UA's Department of Management and Policy for five years.
Her research interests include service interactions, sexual harassment, organizational behavior, human resources management, women in the work force and survey research methods.
Her prior academic appointments include serving one year as a visiting professor at the California Institute of Technology; an eight-year teaching position with the Claremont Graduate School; five years as an assistant professor at the University of California at Los Angeles, 1976-1981; and three years with the University of Michigan Institute for Social Research as an assistant study director and instructor.
