At the 2:30 p.m. ceremony in Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum, AU will confer 690 bachelor's degrees, 235 master's and specialist's degrees and 48 doctoral degrees. Since its charter in 1856, Auburn has awarded 135,848 bachelor's degrees, 20,021 master's and specialist's degrees, 3,132 doctoral degrees and 131 honorary degrees for a total of 159,132. AU at Montgomery this summer will award 292 degrees -- 176 bachelor's degrees and 116 master's and specialist's degrees -- pushing its all-time total to 18,932. AUM total 1994-95 graduates is 1,210. The combined campuses will have awarded 178,062 total degrees. Commencement day ceremonies at Auburn on Aug. 30 include: -- the 9:30 a.m. joint commissioning ceremony for ROTC units at Langdon Hall; and -- the reception for graduates and their families, hosted by President and Mrs. William V.
