GRANT DAVIS TAKES OVER HELM AT AU ADMISSIONS OFFICE
     AUBURN -- Grant Davis, director of Student Activities at
Auburn  University since 1989, has been named acting director of
Admissions.
     Charles Reeder recently retired as director of Admissions.
     Davis,  a 1975 graduate of AU, has been employed in the 
Department of Student Affairs since 1978. 
     As director of Student Activities, Davis was responsible for
the  administration of student activity fee projects, including The
Auburn  Circle; Black Student Union; The Auburn Plainsman; The 
Glomerata; The  Graduate Student Organization; International
Student Organization;  Performing Arts Committee; Recreational
Services and Intramural Sports;  Student Government Association;
The Tiger Club; University Program  Council and the campus radio
station, WEGL-FM.
