ETHERIDGE NAMED PHOTO MANAGER AT AUBURN UNIVERSITY

      AUBURN -- Jeffrey Etheridge of Opelika, who has been 
photographing Auburn University since 1988, has been promoted to manager 
of the university's Photographic Services.
      The appointment was made by Pete Pepinsky, executive director of 
the Office of University Relations.
      Etheridge, 32, a native of Sylacauga, had been acting manager for 
the past seven months. Before joining AU, he was a photographer and 
manager for commercial photo operations in Birmingham and Sylacauga.
      Etheridge was recently named AU's "1995 Employee of the Year."
