AU PARTICIPATES IN CENTRALIZE VET SCHOOL APPLICATIONS

      AUBURN -- Auburn University is among 20 universities nationwide 
participating in a new centralized system for processing applications for 
admittance to veterinary medicine schools.
      The Oakland, Calif.-based Veterinary Medical Colleges Application 
Service includes collection, processing and central distribution of 
applications.
       Rather than applying separately to several different colleges, a 
prospective student can complete one application to be forwarded to his 
or her choice of schools.
      Other institutions participating include the universities of 
California-Davis, Cornell, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa State, Kansas 
State, Louisiana State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Mississippi State, 
North Carolina State, Oklahoma State, Pennsylvania, Purdue, Tennessee, 
Texas A&M, Washington State and Wisconsin.
