Bo Jackson, a former two-sport all-star athlete and a Heisman Trophy winner, will graduate from Auburn University on Monday, Dec. 11.

Jackson, 33, will earn a bachelor's of science degree in family and child development from AU's School of Human Sciences. He will participate in commencement ceremonies at 2:30 p.m. in Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum.

In addition, Jackson will have an 11:15 a.m. news conference on Monday at Spidle Hall, Room 220 ( located on Mell Street) to discuss his academic pursuits and future plans.

Jackson, who retired from professional sports on April 3, played football for the Los Angeles Raiders from 1987-1991, and baseball for the Kansas City Royals from 1986-1990, the Chicago White Sox from 1991-1993 and the California Angels in 1994. He won the Heisman Trophy at Auburn in 1985.
