AU TO AWARD 1,437 DEGREES AT FALL COMMENCEMENT
AUBURN -- Auburn University expects to award 1,437 academic degrees at its fall semester commencement ceremony on Dec. 16 at 2 p.m., in Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum.
AU will award, 1,144 bachelor's degrees, 239 master's degrees and 54 doctorates.
The College of Business expects to graduate 391 undergraduates, more than any other AU college or school. The College of Liberal Arts will award 250 bachelor's degrees, the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering 133, the College of Education 97, the College of Sciences and Mathematics 76, the College of Human Sciences 72, the College of Agriculture 61 and the College of Architecture, Design and Construction 45.
The School of Nursing will award 13 degrees and the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences six.
Since its founding as East Alabama Male College in 1856, AU has awarded more than 200,000 academic degrees.
