AU MASTER PLAN COMMITTEE TO HOLD WORK SESSIONS NOV. 15-17
AUBURN -- Auburn University's Master Plan Committee will have everal work sessions on campus on Thursday, Nov. 15, through Saturday, Nov. 17.
Various university and community officials will meet to discuss a comprehensive master plan for the university, including near-term and long-term campus development. Participating in the discussions will be officials from Sasaki Associates, a well-known planning consulting firm based in Watertown, Mass.
Sessions include:
--- Thursday, Nov. 15: ** 8 a.m. -- Master Planning Committee, Foy Student Union, Room 208. ** 10 a.m. -- Master Plan Executive Committee, Samford Hall, Room 107, President's Suite, Board Room. ** 2 p.m. -- AU Board of Trustees Property and Facilities Committee, 107 Samford Hall, President's Suite, Board Room. ** 3 p.m. -- Student Complex Building Committee, Foy Student Union, Room 203. --- Friday, Nov. 16: ** 8 a.m. -- Administrators with College of Sciences and Mathematics and College of Architecture, Design and Construction, Dudley Hall, Room 248, Dean's Conference Room. ** 10 a.m. -- College of Architecture, Design and Construction faculty and students, Dudley Hall, Room 248m Dean's Conference Room. ** 10:30 a.m. -- Facilities Division directors and community representatives, Facilities Division, Building 2, Room 113. ** 1 p.m. -- AU officials review schematic design of Science Laboratory Center with architect and members of Building Committee, Facilities Division, Building 2, Room 113. ** 3:30 p.m. -- Campus Planning Committee, , Facilities Division, Building 2, Room 113. --- Saturday, Nov.17 ** Officials with Sasaki Associates and AU will observe Auburn-Alabama football game day activities, including traffic and impact on campus.
