BEAT BAMA PARADE, PEP RALLY SET FOR FRIDAY, NOV. 16

AUBURN --- The Auburn University Student Government Association is sponsoring a "Beat Bama" parade and pep rally on Friday, November 16 ­ the day before the annual Auburn and Alabama football clash at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The parade will begin at 3:45 p.m. on Tiger Road, between the AU Medical Clinic and Dunstan Hall, proceed down Magnolia Avenue and turn right on College Street, right on Thach Avenue, left on Duncan Street and into the Graves's Amphitheater.

Jim Voss, NASA astronaut and an AU alumnus, will serve as the parade's grand marshal and will also speak at the pep rally at the amphitheater. It will begin at approximately 4:15 p.m., immediately following the parade.

The pep rally will also feature the AU Marching Band, cheerleaders and Aubie.
