AUBURN -- The following Auburn University faculty can provide expert commentary on issues related to the 2002 primary elections:

** Cynthia J. Bowling, assistant professor of political science (334/844-6152; bowlicj@auburn.edu). Bowling can discuss details of the governoršs race regarding strategies or specifics on several state issues.
** Wayne Flynt, Distinguished University Professor (334/844-6650/334/821-5825). A Southern historian, Flynt has studied Alabama politics and history for more than 30 years.
** Paul M. Johnson, associate professor and chair of political science (334/844-6174; johnspm@auburn.edu). Johnson follows state issues and political races closely, more as hobby than genuine professional expertise based on research experience.
** Herb Rotfeld, professor of marketing , (334/844-2459/334/826-8535; rotfeld@business.auburn.edu). Rotfeld is the author of the new book, Adventures in Misplaced Marketing, which includes information on campaign advertising. He teaches courses at AU on advertising and is an author and scholar on the subject. Rotfeld can also discuss the uses, abuses, criticisms and omissions of marketing practices.
