AU STUDENT AFFAIRS WINS ADMISSIONS MARKETING AWARDS
AUBURN -- Student recruitment materials produced by Auburn University's Student Affairs Division have won awards in a national competition, the only Southeastern Conference or Southern land-grant university so honored.
The Atlanta-based Admissions Marketing Report, the national newspaper of admissions marketing, recognized AU with merit awards for two student recruitment publications and its War Eagle Day interactive DVD.
Also receiving awards in those categories for universities with more than 20,000 students were the University of Southern California, Virginia Commonwealth University, Texas Tech University, Kent State University and the University of Oregon.
A national panel of judges evaluated more than 2,000 entries in the Admissions Marketing Report's 18th annual competition.
AU Student Affairs and Birmingham-based Lewis Communications produced the publications and DVD.
