Selection Committee appoints nine to serve on Board

The Auburn University Trustee Selection Committee today appointed nine individuals to serve on the university’s Board of Trustees. Gov. Robert Bentley, who chairs the committee, will send the appointments to the Alabama State Senate, which confirms new members.

District 1: B.T. Roberts
District 2: Clark Sahlie
District 3: Jimmy Rane
District 3-Lee County: Bob Dumas
District 4: Jimmy Sanford
District 6: Elizabeth Huntley
District 7: Sarah Newton
District 9: Jim Pratt
At-Large: Charles McCrary

In addition to Gov. Bentley, the selection committee is comprised of Auburn Alumni Board members Bobby Poundstone, Nancy Fortner and Howard Nelson and Auburn Trustees Raymond Harbert and John Blackwell.
