War Eagle! Thank you for your interest in producing officially licensed Auburn University merchandise. The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) serves as Auburn's licensing agent and coordinates all requests for licensing. CLC is the oldest and largest collegiate licensing representative in the nation, currently representing more than 200 colleges, universities, bowl games, athletic conferences, The Heisman Trophy, and the NCAA. Headquartered in Atlanta, CLC is a full-service licensing representative, which employs a staff of more than 80 licensing professionals with the capability to establish and manage every aspect of a collegiate licensing program. Auburn University's licensing program has several types of license agreements available where we have more than 500 companies licensed to produce a variety of products. We feel that certain product categories are sufficiently supplied by our current base of licensees and may be unavailable to new companies. Therefore, you will need to provide detailed information about your company, product, retail relationships, and marketing and advertising plan.

A Standard License is available to companies interested in producing Auburn
merchandise for distribution to the retail community.

The Local/In-state License is an option for companies interested in producing product only for Auburn and/or other in-state universities. Companies licensed under the local/in-state agreement do not have the option of pursuing other universities outside the state of Alabama for a period of one year. This option is recommended for new companies or companies new to licensing.

The Restricted License is available to companies that produce product for campus departments and student groups only not for retail. Auburn does not grant apparel licenses to restricted companies.

It is Auburn's desire to support our current base of licensees. By providing information about retailers and hot market opportunities, we hope to assist your sales efforts on behalf of Auburn University. On this site, you will find the following information:

  • list of local, state and regional retailers
  • information on advertising opportunities
  • detailed facts and figures regarding alumni demographics, pictures of athletic uniforms and facilities and our custom mascot, Aubie

Also, we feature licensees and their products in our retailer section. If you are interested in participating, contact us via email for more information. Most importantly, to know Auburn is to love it. To learn more about Auburn University visit the Auburn Experience page.
