Bike Safety
- All bicycles operated on campus should be brought to AUDPS and registered. Registration costs $2.00 per year.
- When operating a bicycle on campus you must have a valid driver’s license or student ID in your possession at all times—a violation will result in a $25.00 fine.
- All state traffic laws should be observed.
- Be sure you have a front light and rear reflector at night.
- Ride bikes on the right side of the street.
- Obey all traffic signals and signs.
- Always park and lock your bike to a rack.
- Wear a helmet (75% of bike deaths are result of head injuries).
