Move-in registration begins Tuesday, July 8, 2014 on a first–come, first-serve basis. If you plan to move-in on Saturday,
August 9th or Wednesday, August 13th between the hours of 6:45 am and 12:00 pm, you must register for a 30-minute move-in time.
Note: The August 9th move-in day is strictly for students who must move in early due to participation in a University affiliated activity.
Students moving in on August 9th will be assessed a $90 early move-in fee.
To register, go to your Tigeri page and choose the “Parking Services” menu item. If you have not registered a vehicle with Parking Services you will be asked to provide a contact phone number so that we may get in touch with you during move-in if necessary. Choose the “Fall Move In” option from the menu and follow the instructions. Print the confirmation page and place it on your dash of your vehicle during move-in. If you have more than one vehicle, print a page for each vehicle that you will be bringing to the move-in. You will be sent another confirmation via email on August 5th, in case you are unable to print the page or lose it. Even if you forget your confirmation, we will have a master list and will check your name off as you enter your assigned area. Move-in registration enables you to park closest to your residence hall (see attached map). There is a limit on the number of vehicles permitted during each 30-minute time slot. You may change your time slot only once online, but you may contact the Parking Services Office before August 1st, if you require additional changes. Even if you are using a moving company, you must register for a time slot.
Remember, you are registering for a 30-minute time slot for unloading close to your residence hall. Times will not be extended if you arrive late. For example, if you arrive at 10 am for a 9:45 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. time slot, you will only have 15 minutes to park in that area. Vehicles that are in an incorrect area or parked in an area outside of the timeslot, may receive a $100 ticket per vehicle and the vehicle(s) may towed from the area. When you arrive on campus, please follow the move-in day traffic flow arrows, the designated waiting areas and parking after unloading areas on the map for the resident area that you are moving into. If the previous time slot finishes early, you may be permitted to enter the area.
When you park in the move-in area, the student should go to the Resident Welcome Center to pick up their room key and other information. Residents must bring a photo ID with them. After unloading your belongings and before you allotted time is up, you will then move your vehicle(s) to the areas indicated on the map as “PARK HERE AFTER UNLOADING”.
