Reserving the HRD Training Facility

The Human Resource Development (HRD) Training Facility, located at 1550 East Glenn Avenue, is available for use by any training activities on campus whose purpose is to train or develop employees of the University in the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the University’s mission. The facility has state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and can be configured as two rooms that will hold 20 participants each or one room to seat 40.

Activities with other purposes (e.g., meetings of groups or associations that have a University affiliation; committees in
support of University activities; and University groups/elements/activities needing meeting space in furtherance of their University mission) can also reserve the space as a second priority. However, the primary use of the facility is support of training and development efforts which fully use its attributes and equipment.

If you wish to reserve the facility for one of the purposes described above, go to the Calendar , see if the date and time you need are available (do not forget that the space can be configured in two rooms, so that if you see a date and time already taken, you should still submit your request since we may still be able to accommodate you), and then send the email requesting the time and date that you desire; we will respond to your request by email. Be sure to include the following information about the desired activity in your email: date of activity, inclusive times, type of activity, purpose, and point of contact (name, title, department, email address, and phone number).
