Spirit of Excellence
Team Award

The Department of Human Resources has announced the addition of a “team award” to its Spirit of Excellence Award Program. The award will be given quarterly to a team of employees who work together to accomplished the goals set forth by the team’s supervisor. A team is two or more employees working together to complete a project that makes a significant contribution to the efficiency, economy, or improvement to the department, unit and/or to the University as a whole.

Nomination of a team can be made by a member of management, customers serviced by the team or individual employees. The form used to nominate individuals for the monthly Spirit of Excellence Award can also be used to nominate a team.
