Employee Appreciation Week

Save the dates! Employee Appreciation Week will occur in April 2020

The second annual Employee Appreciation Week at Auburn University will be held April 6-10, 2020.

The tentative schedule for this special week is posted below:

  • Monday, April 6, Department Appreciation DayIn 2019, several departments and units recognized their employees by hosting breakfast and/or picnic meals, games, music and many more events. The Auburn Alumni Association, with the assistance of Aubie, distributed hundreds of bags of popcorn to faculty and staff.
  • Tuesday, April 7, Administrative Professionals' Day Conference: Approximately 230 people attended the 2019 conference. Keynote speakers Thom Gossom Jr. and Jamie Brown, along with several breakout speakers, spoke to the conference theme of “Happy, Whole and Healthy.”
  • Wednesday, April 8, Employee Recognition Program: More than 500 people were recognized at the 2019 program, including the four Employee of the Year recipients.
  • Thursday, April 9, Employee PicnicApproximately 1,200 employees attended the 2019 picnic at Ham Wilson Arena. Attendees enjoyed hamburgers, hot dogs and beautiful weather. Sponsors included University Outreach, Facilities Management and Flowers Bakery.
  • Friday: April 10, To be determined
