| For salary administration the Human Resources department maintains job class and job description records along with salary grades and ranges data for all jobs applicable to University Staff (US) and Administrative-Professional (AP) employee groups, and coordinates position review and classification matters. Within the Human Resources department, the Compensation and Classification office is responsible to maintain listings and records for descriptions, titles, class serial numbers, pay grades and management coding for jobs; to maintain the approved pay grade - salary range structure; and, to coordinate position reviews and classifications.
