Chapter by-laws and activities will be directed to the following goals in pursuit of the mission:

• Ensure inclusivity of all institutions and individuals in the state of Alabama.

• Make membership and participation affordable and convenient.

• Maximize attendance and participation in chapter meetings and activities by making them fun, convenient, affordable and professionally beneficial.

• Maximize participation by members in national and regional CUPA sponsored events and encourage every individual to attend at least one chapter meeting every year.

• Provide individuals with educational and professional development opportunities by encouraging members to share expertise/knowledge/speciality and developing a database to identify members having matters to share with others.

• Provide NETWORKING opportunities.

• Develop and maintain an ALACUPA Web Page and ListServ for members.

• Develop a recognition/awards program for ALACUPA members for special merit and achievement.

• Enhance reputation of ALACUPA chapter members among leaders of state education institutions and related businesses and organizations.

• Enhance the image of the ALACUPA chapter and be recognized as a top CUPA chapter.
