Meet the Staff
Our residence halls are staffed by a diverse team of undergraduate students (Resident Assistants), graduate students, and professional staff. Our central office is located in Burton Hall, 305 West Samford.
Dr. Hoult is originally from Hartselle, Alabama. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Counseling with a concentration in College Student Personnel from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. He also earned his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education from Argosy University. Dr. Hoult began his career in residence life during his time as a graduate student at Jacksonville State University working as a hall director. He knew early in his studies that he wanted a career in housing and residence life. Throughout his professional career in higher education, Dr. Hoult has served as the Coordinator of Student Activities and Residence Life at Shawnee State University in Ohio, Resident Manager at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and lastly as the Director of University Housing and Residence Life at Jacksonville State University for 12 years . During his time at Jacksonville he restructured the housing department to include professional staff of area coordinators, renovated and upgraded several residence halls and facilitated the construction of a new residence hall facility which included a club floor and sky boxes for the football games.
Dr. Koch has nearly 30 years of experience in higher education with a focus in housing and residence life. A native Ohioan with southern roots in Tennessee, Dr. Koch earned her Ph.D. in higher education from Loyola University Chicago and MA in student personnel services from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She also holds degrees from the University of Akron and Case Western Reserve University. She is active in regional and national housing associations and is an adjunct faculty member at Auburn University.
Ms. Young is originally from New Orleans, LA where she completed an undergraduate degree at the University of New Orleans. In 2005 Ms. Young began serving as a graduate Hall Director and was promoted to Area Director in 2009. She began serving as Assistant Director in summer 2014. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Auburn University.
Mr. McKinnell received his Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of South Alabama. A native of Mobile Alabama, he began his 16 year career at Auburn University in June of 1999 working for the Outreach Program Office as a Program Developer, Managing Conferences and Summer Programs. In November of 2006 Mr. McKinnell transitioned to Auburn University Housing & Residence Life. An active member of the Auburn community, Mr. McKinnell can be found coaching various youth sports in the local area or coaching Auburn High School Football during the Fall. Mr. McKinnell is married with 2 children and attends Auburn United Methodist Church.
Mr. Coradazzi is originally from Norcross, GA and obtained his Bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and Linguistics from the University of Georgia in 2013. Mr. Coradazzi completed a Masters of Science in College Student Personnel from the University of Tennessee in May 2015. Mr. Coradazzi joined the Residence Life team in June 2015 as an Area Director.
Dr. Jessica Koehler is originally from Flowery Branch, Georgia and received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia in 2008. Dr. Koehler earned a Master’s degree in Family and Child Sciences in 2010 from Florida State University. She served as a graduate hall director for two years while completing a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration at Auburn. Prior to graduating in August 2014, she began serving as an Area Director.
Mr. Joseph is originally from the New York, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University at Albany. He served as a Hall Director at the University of New Haven while earning a Master's in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Justice Management and Administration and a certificate in Public Administration in 2011. Before coming to Auburn in June 2015, Mr. Joseph served as a Hall Director at Winston Salem State University in North Carolina.
As an Auburn Native, Mrs. Sharpe completed her Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Merchandising, Design and Production Management and a minor in Business from Auburn in 2006. Mrs. Sharpe has worked in student housing in multiple settings. Prior to joining the UHRL team, she spent 5 years working with a private college housing company that severed students in the Auburn and Texas A&M market. Mrs. Sharpe currently serves as the Assignments Coordinator for UHRL.
Mrs. Bush is originally from Selma, Alabama. She moved to Auburn as a freshman and hasn’t left! Caroline graduated from Auburn University in 2009 with a degree is Human Resource Management. While in college she met her husband Allen. They have one son, Ellis, and two labs named Taylor and Abbie.
Abigail is originally from Alexander City, Alabama where she grew up learning “all things Auburn.” She graduated from Troy University in May of 2014 with her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics while minoring in Leadership Development. While at Troy University, Abigail worked as a Resident Assistant during her senior year.
Ashley Blake is a native of Hoover, Alabama. Ashley graduated from Troy University May, 2015 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Exercise Science. While at Troy University, Ashley worked as a Resident Assistant for three years. She is pursuing a Master's Degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling. Ms. Blake serves as the Graduate Area Coordinator for the Village South neighborhood.
Originally from Camden, South Carolina, Alyssa Bolin, “Aly”, graduated from Auburn University in 2015 with a BA in Political Science and minor in Women’s Studies and Community and Civic Engagement. She is currently an accelerated student in Auburn’s Master of Public Administration program. When not cheering on her Auburn tigers at Jordan Hare, Aly can be found at Kiesel Dog Park. Ms. Bolin serves as the Administrative Graduate Assistant in Residence Life.
Michelle is originally from Anchorage, Alaska. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology from Washington State University. She is pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Ms. Fox serves as the Graduate Area Coordinator for the Lower Quad.
Hayley is a native of Pace, Florida. She graduated from Troy University in May of 2014 with her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Human Resource Management. She also holds double minors in Leadership Studies and Broadcast Journalism. While at Troy University, Hayley worked as a Resident Assistant for three years. She is pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Ms. Hinote serves as the Graduate Area Coordinator for Hill West.
Originally from New Jersey, Katherine, "Katie" O'Neil graduated from Lafayette College in May of 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in English and Psychology and a minor in Women & Gender Studies. While at Lafayette, Katie worked as a Resident Assistant for two years and a Head Resident for one year while spending the summers working in Residence Life for Johns Hopkins CTY program. She then spent two years working in Residence Life at Garrett College in Maryland. She will be pursuing her doctorate in Counseling Psychology at Auburn University starting in the fall. Ms. O’Neil serves as the Graduate Area Coordinator for the Village North neighboorhood.
Madison grew up in Southern Illinois, but she now calls Nolensville, Tennessee her home. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Organizational Communication from Murray State University. She is pursuing a Master's in Higher Education Administration. When she isn't working or studying, Madison can be found watching Netflix, eating/cooking food, or playing board games. Ms. Mucci serves as the Graduate Area Coordinator for Cambridge Hall.
Katherine is originally from Huntsville, Alabama. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Secondary Education from the University of North Alabama where she served as a Resident Assistant for three years. During the last five years, she taught English in Japan and then moved to Wetumpka, Alabama to teach Life Sciences. She is pursuing a Master’s in Biology Education. Ms. Ray serves as the Graduate Area Coordinator for the Upper Quad.
Hayley is originally from Toccoa, Georgia and completed her undergraduate degree at Georgia Southern University. She worked in Human Resources at Koch Industries, Inc. in Atlanta before moving to Auburn to pursue her Master’s in Higher Education Aministration. Ms. Spencer serves as the Graduate Area Coordinator for the Hill West neighborhood.
