Minutes of the Steering Committee Meeting

In Attendance:  Nedret Billor, Claire Crutchley, Robin Jaffe, Mary Ellen Mazey, Russ Muntifering, Ann Beth Presley, Jim Wright
Absent:  Kathryn Flynn

--The meeting was called to order at 3:30 p.m.

--The minutes of the 13 January 2011 Steering Committee meeting were approved without change.
 
--We finalized agenda items for the 8 February 2011 meeting of University Senate, including nominations from the floor for service on Rules Committee; action items from Academic Standards, Library, and Calendar and Schedules Committees; and information items from Teaching Effectiveness Committee and Office of Institutional Research and Assessment.

--We discussed possible agenda items for action or information at the 1 March 2011 meeting of University Senate  from Steering Committee, Intercollegiate Athletics, Common Book Program, Campus Health and Wellness Committee, Student Counseling Center, and Insurance and Benefits Committee.

--The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
