Nominations are being sought for Available Seats on University Committees (updated May 2, 2008)
The Nominations & Elections Committee is seeking nominees for A&P representatives on University Committees to submit to the Office of the President. Two names will be submitted for each opening and the President will make the appointments. Terms of service are for three years. The committees with openings are:

Institutional Biosafety
Insurance and Benefits
Multicultural Affairs
Student Discipline
Traffic Appeals (3)

Persons interested in serving on a committee should indicate the committees in which they have interest and download and complete a bio. Submit this information and bio-form via email to apnecom@auburn.edu by Wednesday, May 7.

"Scale Back Alabama" Update (updated Jan. 22, 2008)
Auburn University employees and students are engaged in the "Scale Back Alabama" statewide weight loss competition. This program started the week of January 7th-11th with over 600 AU participants signing up. Click here for more informaiton.

Representative place information (updated July 13,2007)
At the Oct., 2007 meeting Greg Ruff, representative for Place 11, presented information to the Assembly about Place11. Other representatives will be presenting at future meetings. The information is also linked from the representatives page.

Assembly meeting: Wednesday, March 26 at 1:00 in 202 Foy (updated March 13, 2008) Items planned for the agenda will include the results of the Representative elections, A & P Committee Reports, the Administrative Fellowship policy will be presented as well as information about campus resources concerning emergency response and resources available to students, and recognition of Representatives rolling off the Assembly. The Assembly will hold it's meeeting at 1:00 in room 202 Foy Student Union. For a full agenda click here.

Call for nominees for Representatives to the Assembly (updated Feb. 22, 2008)
Nominations are being sought for Representatives to the Assembly for three-year terms running from April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2011. Deadline for receipt of nominations is Monday, February 18, 2008. Nominations can be made by any A&P employee. A&P employees interested in serving may nominate themselves. Only employees in designated areas will vote to elect their representatives. Voting will be done electronically during the week of March 3-10. Nominations should be forwarded to the A&P Nominations and Elections committee apnecom@auburn.edu. Nominations should be accompanied by a brief BIO of the person being nominated. The BIO Form can be downloaded from in Word or PDF format.

Next Assembly Meeting Set for Wednesday, Feb. 20th, 2008 at 1:00 (updated Feb. 14, 2008))
The election of officers will take place during the Assembly meeting scheduled for Wednesday February 20, 2008 in the Foy Student Union, room 213. Officers elected during the meeting will serve for the year April 1, 2008 through March 31, 2009. In addition, there are two program items of particular note - one a health update about the "Scale Back Alabama" program, and the other about emergency awareness, preparedness and AU Alert.
