The Administrative and Professional Assembly was established to afford Administrative and Professional employees, all non-faculty, "exempt" employees, representative participation in the University governance process.   • 8/2/12 - Meeting Schedule for 2012/2013 posted
  • 6/25/12 - Congratulations to the new A&P Representatives starting July 2012 (Courtney Gage, Lisa Martin, Meaghan Weir, Shannon Bryant-Hankes, Robert Kulick, and Cathy Pate)
  • 5/29/12 - Employee Tuition Waiver Brown Bag Lunch is scheduled for June 14 @ 11:45am in 1203 Haley Center
  • 5/28/12 - A new webpage has been developed to provide websites for free CPE (see sidebar)
  • 5/11/12 - The slides from Dr. Large's presentation have been posted.
  • 5/01/12 - Online voting begins today through May 4th.  Vote here!
  • 4/16/12 - The A&P Presidental Fellowship is now open for applications.  Deadline May 20.
  • 4/16/12 - REMINDER that Nominations for A&P Representatives end on April 25th (Nominate Someone)
  • 1/26/12 - New A&P Meeting dates set (see Meeting Schedule)
  • November 16th meeting POSTPONED due to inclement weather.
  • Next Meeting, May 25th, 3pm @ 1103 Shelby Center - Only agenda item is for representatives to vote yes or no to support the Smoke-Free Campus Resolution. Please also see the results of the Welfare Committee Survey regarding "smoke free" - 89.9% either don't care or are in favor of it.
  • A&P Welfare Committee Survey Results - Thank you to the Welfare Committee for getting this survey together and thank you to those who completed the survey.
  • Results from recent place elections, congratulations to Susan Canaan Place 2, Wiebke Kuhn Place 10, Vic Walker Place 12, Tammy Hollis Place 13, Elizabeth Bowersock Place 14, Jane Hoehaver Farr Place 15, and Kathy Harmon Place 18. These positions are through 2014.
  • Join us for our March 23, 2011 Assembly meeting in the Student Center, rooms 2222-2223. We have a full agenda to include presentations regarding the Threat Assessment Team, AU Faculty Staff Campaign, Kronos (the new timekeeping system) as well as updates on Healthy Tigers and the Smoke Free Campus project. Finally, results of recent elections will be announced and outgoing members will be recognized.

  • February 2, 2011 is the next scheduled assembly meeting at 3:00 p.m. in the Student Center rooms 2222-2223. We will have a speaker to update us on the discussions about making AU a smoke free campus as well as a speaker to update us on the Quality Enhancement Plan. Executive Committee elections will be held.
