Parking Lot On West Side of Biological Research Building Unavailable May 13-18
The parking lot on the west side of the Biological Research Building will be unavailable May 13-18, 2013. This closure is necessary to allow repairs of the parking surface. The north entrance between the Corley Building and Extension and Duncan Halls will be open for traffic and deliveries. In addition, the south entrance between the Corley Building and the Biological Research Facility will be open for traffic and deliveries. Heisman Drive Closure (May 9-13, 2013)
Effective May 9-13, 2013, Heisman Drive will be closed from Wire Road to South Donahue Drive. This closure is to allow for decorative asphalt stamping work to be completed for the Recreation and Wellness Center and Kinesiology Building projects. Please use War Eagle Way as an alternate route. Sidewalk and Bike Lane Closure on W. Samford and S. Donahue Dr.
Effective April 1 through July 26, 2013, the sidewalk & bike lane along the north side of W. Samford Avenue, from Duncan Drive to S. Donahue Drive, and the sidewalk along the east side of S. Donahue, from Samford Avenue to the Coliseum parking lot, will be closed. Please use the south sidewalk and bike lane along West Samford Avenue and the west sidewalk along S. Donahue Drive during this time. The purpose of this work is to facilitate construction along the west and south sides of the new South Donahue Residence Hall and to construct a new bus lane and sidewalks along West Samford Avenue that will serve the new South Donahue Residence Hall. During this time, a pedestrian and bicycle traffic detour will be in place on the opposite side of the roads in these areas. South driveway; some parking spaces unavailable during construction of BERL
A construction project to renovate the existing Agricultural Engineering Annex, also known as the Biological Engineering Research Laboratory or BERL (behind Corley Hall) has begun. Perimeter fencing has been installed. The parking spaces immediately adjacent to BERL are not available during the construction period. In addition, the south driveway into the parking area is closed for construction access only. Access can be scheduled with the construction project manager for large deliveries to the adjacent buildings. The project is expected to be complete by fall 2013. Biggio Drive Closed from Coliseum Drive to South Donahue Drive
The section of Biggio Drive from Coliseum Drive to South Donahue Drive has closed permanently to allow for the construction of the new South Donahue Parking Deck and Wellness Kitchen Facilities. Leach Science Center Service Drive Closed Until April 30
Leach Science Center service drive is closed for construction of the new S. Donahue Residence Hall until Tuesday, April 30, 2013.
